Developing Africa’s future STEM leaders.

In just seven years, we have educated almost 150 gifted young women from 14 countries across Africa, developing their potential as Africa's future STEM leaders. Our students are truly exceptional and we believe they will play a key role in the transformation of the continent.

Our students come from some of the most disadvantaged backgrounds across Africa - without the intervention of ASA, their incredible talents would be wasted simply because they could not afford their education. Our world-class education has unlocked more than £4million in university scholarships for our exceptional students to attend leading universities around the world.

We have also trained 200 teachers across Ghana, benefitting 15,000 school children and improving STEM education across the country.

What people are saying

“In the short time ASA has been around, I have seen some amazing results. Their girls do not only come out well prepared for university work, they also demonstrate a great level of confidence and readiness to support others.”

— Araba Botchway, Ashesi Admissions

“ASA is a small school with a big vision to train the next generation of female scientists and engineers from Africa. The education atmosphere breeds more than a STEM training, the virtues and values imbibed into these young girls is what Africa needs to inspire leaders.”

— Felix Nartey, Open Foundation West Africa

A LEVEL RESULTS 2022

Despite the impact of coronavirus and last year’s school closure during the peak of the COVID pandemic, ASA has come back with full force with our best-ever A-Level results. Our gifted students completed the Cambridge International A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths and Physics in just one academic year.
